This article explains how to deactivate or reactivate QuickBooks Online in NinjaOne SaaS Backup.

Environment

NinjaOne SaaS Backup

Description

QuickBooks Online (QBO) backup is currently only available to U.S. customers who purchased the stand-alone SaaS backup product directly from Dropsuite. QBO backup is not currently available as part of the NinjaOne platform.

Choosing to deactivate a QuickBooks Online (QBO) company will result in the backup process for that company stopping, and will deactivate the authorization of the backup application.

To Deactivate a QBO Company

  1. In the NinjaOne SaaS Backup Partner Portal, navigate to the dashboard page.
  2. Move your cursor over the company listing. Click More, then click Deactivate.
  3. SaaS Backup will display a confirmation dialog box. Input the reason for deactivation, then click Yes, Continue. button.
  4. Once this is successful, the status will be “Deactivated” and color-coded yellow.

QBO Reactivation

To reactivate the backup of a QBO file, you must reauthenticate with the QBO application. By reactivating the QBO company, the regular backup will return to running normally.

How To Reactivate a QBO Company

  1. Navigate to the dashboard
  2. Select a deactivated company, click the More button, then click Info Details
  3. Click Connect to QuickBooks
  4. On the QuickBooks Login page, enter your credentials.
  5. Select the deactivated company you want to reactivate, then click Next.
  6. Click Connect.
  7. NinjaOne SaaS Backup will update the status and display a green banner on the dashboard page.
