What is a Reporting Dashboard?

Our Reporting Dashboard visually represents data about our partner with the ability to drill down into the data for further exploration. Once logged into the partner portal, you can access the Dashboard page.

Why Reporting Dashboard is Necessary?

It plays a crucial role in enhancing partner user experience by providing a streamlined interface for data visualization, enabling data-driven decision-making.

What are the Newly Added Widgets on This Improvement?

The newly added widgets are Protection Coverage and Seat Usage.

Is the Data Shown in the Dashboard in Real-time?

No, the last update time can be identified by the message given on the chart.

What is Protection Coverage?

Protection coverage shows the percentage of backed-up accounts out of all accounts.

This is currently available for M365 mailbox accounts.

How Do I Find the Protection Coverage Widget?

  1. Login to the partner portal.

  2. On the left navigation bar, click Dashboard, then Reporting Dashboard.

  3. The Protection Coverage widget is on the left side of the page, followed by the number of unprotected licensed accounts.

How Does the System Calculate Protection Coverage?

The system shows the percentage by following this formula:

Please note that the total accounts here refer to the M365 help within each domain. If you click the "Report Details" button, you will find a table containing data along with values for several calculations.

 

What Is the Benefit of Protection Coverage?

Partners can ensure comprehensive protection across all organizations under their supervision, directing organizations to add email backup if the percentage is low.

What Does the Number Next to Protection Coverage Mean?

It represents the number of "Unprotected Licensed Accounts."

How Does the System Calculate “Unprotected Licensed Account”?

The system shows the number of Unprotected Licensed Accounts by following these formulas:

  • Unprotected Licensed Account = Unlicensed Account – Unprotected Licensed Account

  • Unlicensed Account = Total Account – Backup Account

Seat Usage

What is Seat Usage?

Seat usage refers to the number of paid seats being used for backup, allowing easy management and ensuring optimal usage.

 

How Do I Find the Seat Usage Widget?

  1. Login to the partner portal.

  2. On the left navigation bar, click “Dashboard”, then “Reporting Dashboard”.

  3. The Seat Usage widget is on the right side of the page.

How Does the System Calculate Seat Usage?

The system shows the percentage by following this formula:

If you click the “Report Details” button, you will find a table containing data along with values for several calculations.

How Does the System Calculate Seat Usage If the Organization Activates the Auto License Feature?

Once the Auto License is active, the number of paid seats will be the same as the used seats, resulting in 100% seat usage.
