Audit log is a comprehensive record of activities that occur within the Partner Portal. It captures detailed information such as date when activities happen, actor who did it, source, object, status, and descriptions.

Audit logs are crucial in enhancing security, ensuring compliance, facilitating investigations, improving system reliability, and promoting accountability. Without them, issues might appear, such as when changes happen and the partner can’t trace who made them.

 

View Audit Logs

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Audit Log page.

  3. This page displays all recorded activities from the last 24 hours.

  4. To view detailed information, select any row; the system will show the activity details on the right side of the page.

 

Search Audit Logs

To search for specific logs:

  1. Use the search box at the top of the page.

  2. You can search by:
    • Log ID
    • Actor (user who performed the action)
    • Object (the item that was affected)
    • Description

  3. Enter your query and press Enter.

  4. The system supports partial searches, listing matching results dynamically.

 

Filter Audit Logs

By default, the logs are filtered by:

  • Date Range: Last 24 hours
  • Activity Type: All activities

To apply more specific filters:

  1. Click the More Filter button next to Activities.
  2. Select the desired date range, activity type, or actor to narrow down the list.

 

Accessibility

The Audit Log page is accessible to the following roles:

  • Owner
  • Super Admin
  • Admin
  • Support

Note: The accessibility for Admin & Support roles is determined by Group Management settings. They can only view audit logs for the organizations they are permitted to manage.

 

 

Known Limitations

  • Audit log currently cannot be exported.
  • Activities primarily cover:
    • Login & Accessibility
    • Organization Management
  • Some API-based activities may not be recorded, particularly when the API call results in a "Not Found" status for the object's activity.

Does the system only record activity from the UI?

No. The system records activities from both UI and API interactions.

 

Can I see logs from the past?

Yes, the system displays logs for the last 24 hours by default. To customize the date range:

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Audit Log page.
  3. Select the date range filter and your preferred time frame.

 

Does the "Actor" refer to the partner only?

No, the Actor can be any of the following:

  • Partners with different roles (Owner, Super Admin, Admin, Support)
  • Users within the organization
  • Internal Support teams
  • System processes
