NinjaOne SaaS Backup
Dropsuite is now NinjaOne SaaS Backup!
We're excited to announce that we've updated our name and branding to reflect our integration into the NinjaOne product line. Your subscriptions, logins, and support channels remain unchanged. The same products and people you trust, now backed by NinjaOne's extensive platform of service management tools and expertise.
NinjaOne Help Portal
Comprehensive Help, One Location
Are you simultaneously a NinjaOne Commercial and NinjaOne FedRAMP customer? Does your partnership with us include both NinjaOne RMM and NinjaOne SaaS Backup (formerly Dropsuite) solutions? Would you prefer a single URL to remember for all of your product documentation needs?
If so, we're excited to announce the debut of help.ninjaone.com, your one-stop launchpad to all instances of the NinjaOne Dojo and the NinjaOne SaaS Protection Help Center. With a single click, you can access help and support resources for NinjaOne Commercial, NinjaOne FedRAMP, and NinjaOne SaaS Backup. Spend less time tracking websites and get back to business quicker. Getting help should be easy. With the NinjaOne Help Portal, it is.
Enhancements
Compliance and Review Officer (CRO) Role Expansion
We've expanded the Compliance and Review Officer (CRO) role. This role plays a key part in an organization's ability to provide oversight, approvals, and auditability for sensitive actions, helping ensure compliance and support secure access at scale. The expanded role now allows broader visibility not only to email, but also to Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive, enabling more effective reviews without impacting existing permissions. Learn more
Enhanced Default Retention Policy
Starting June 1, 2026, NinjaOne SaaS Backup will require a default retention policy to meet compliance and governance standards. Your default retention policy applies to Email, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft OneDrive backups, ensuring that:
- Your data meets compliance and audit requirements.
- Data that is no longer required to be kept is securely removed to reduce risk.
- Your backups stay clean, organized, and easy to manage.
While setting a default policy will now be mandatory, you can still create custom policies as needed. Learn more
