Description
Alerts in NinjaOne SaaS Backup notify you about important events related to backed-up emails that require attention, helping you continuously monitor new emails that meet pre-defined conditions.
You can create an alert for any saved search. When an alert is activated, the designated recipient will receive an email notification whenever a newly archived email matches the saved search criteria. NinjaOne SaaS Backup sends a reminder email once per day.
Prerequisites
Alerts require saved search criteria to know when the alert should be triggered and who should receive it. You create saved searches using the eDiscovery feature. For an explanation of how to set up saved searches, review Saving Searches with eDiscovery. NinjaOne SaaS Backup will send daily email alerts to the email address of the person who created the saved search.
How to Activate Alerts
To activate an alert, ensure you have already saved a search on the e-discovery page, then follow these steps:
- Log in to the NinjaOne SaaS Backup End User Portal.
- Navigate to Compliance→ Alert.
- Activate an individual alert by selecting ON, or click Enable All to activate alerts for all saved searches.
How to Deactivate Alerts
To deactivate an alert, select Off, or click Disable All to deactivate alerts for all saved searches.
