New Features

Download Capability for Compliance & Review Officer (CRO) Role

The Compliance & Review Officer (CRO) plays a key role in organizations by providing oversight, approvals, and auditability for sensitive actions. We've expanded the CRO role's capabilities to include downloading file and folder structures from email, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive accounts. With this improvement, CRO users who could previously only view these files can now also download them. Learn more

Enhancements

Bulk Legal Hold for Email

We have enhanced the Legal Hold feature by adding batch processing capabilities. You can now upload a CSV file to add multiple users to each legal hold instance at once. This improvement saves time and streamlines the process when you create or modify a legal hold. Learn more

Backup Configuration Update

Due to ongoing changes in how Microsoft manages Exchange Web Services (EWS) across Microsoft 365 (M365) tenants, if you use In-Place Archive, you may need to update a setting in your Microsoft 365 Admin Center to ensure your backups continue working.

To check your settings, follow these steps:

  1. In the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, navigate to Settings Org SettingsServices Exchange Online.
  2. If the Block your entire organization from using EWS checkbox is selected, clear it.

We strongly recommend making this update as soon as possible to prevent service disruptions, such as backup failures or In-Place Archive authentication errors.
