Description

This month's release contains the following enhancements.

Enhancements

Google OU/Group Filter Enablement for All Customers

Google Group and Organizational Unit (OU) filtering is now active by default for all customers. You no longer need to contact our support team to request activation of this feature. The Google Groups and OU filters for Google Workspace backups allow you to manage mailbox accounts based on Groups or Organizational Units (OUs), giving you better control and more streamlined backup management. Increased Entra Backup Frequency

NinjaOne SaaS Backup now backs up Microsoft Entra every 8 hours instead of the previous 24 hours. With more frequent backups, NinjaOne SaaS Backup captures your important changes sooner. Learn more

Default Retention Policy

NinjaOne SaaS Backup now requires you to set a default retention policy to meet compliance and governance standards. Previously, setting a default policy was optional. Your default retention policy applies to Email, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft OneDrive backups, ensuring that:

  • Your data meets compliance and audit requirements.
  • NinjaOne SaaS Backup reduces risk by removing data that your organization no longer needs.
  • Your backups stay organized and easy to manage.

While setting a default policy is now mandatory, you can still create custom policies as needed. Learn more
