Description

This month's release contains the following new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Select a topic to continue.

New Features

Rewst Integration

Dropsuite is proud to announce that we have now integrated with Rewst. Rewst is a platform designed specifically for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to automate complex workflows across various IT tools, eliminating the need for deep coding expertise or manual agent intervention. This integration will enhance service desk automation, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

All changes are implemented within the Rewst application with no modifications to our portal.

Google Drive Permissions Backup and Restore

Google Drive permissions control user access to shared media tools like Google Drive and Shared Drives. Building on our previous support for Shared Drive permissions, we now also support Google Drive permissions, ensuring more consistent and comprehensive access management. Learn more

Entra Device

Great news! Dropsuite now supports Entra device backups. In Microsoft Entra ID, a device represents a physical tool, such as a computer, mobile phone, tablet, or a virtual device that has been registered, joined, or hybrid-joined with the organization's directory. This new capability helps users stay secure, maintain continuity, and work more productively. Learn more

Entra RBAC

Role-based access control (RBAC) is now live! RBAC ensures that only designated roles get access to the features you specify. Learn more

Some limits apply to this functionality based on your assigned role. Support and Finance roles do not have access to this feature.

Enhancements

Backup Summary Report Enhancement

The backup summary report now includes additional SharePoint workload, providing a more comprehensive view of backup monitoring. Learn more

Dropsuite Help Center Redesign

The Dropsuite Help Center now features a sleek, contemporary look and feel that aligns it with our modern brand standards. Featuring more intuitive navigation and a localized user interface (UI), our new knowledge base experience standardizes the product enablement experience across platforms, helping you find the information you need more efficiently.

Bug Fixes

Our team fixed the following issues:

  • Continuous backup error notifications that can look like spam
  • Error 500 when viewing OneDrive backups
  • Discrepancy that could cause a mismatch between the total contact backups shown on the Partner Portal versus Microsoft M365
  • Incorrect Group Supervisor role accessibility when accessing the migration feature
